Prime Years Academy utilizes the award-winning Creative Curriculum for Preschool as the foundation for its program. The philosophy behind this curriculum is that each child is a unique individual and that young children learn best by doing.
The program focuses on the development of fine and gross motor skills, socialization, literacy (reading and writing), problem solving, and creativity through play. These basic abilities form the foundation of all subsequent learning.
Our teachers guide the children through the learning process by intentionally exposing them to experiences, both indoors and outdoors, that support their growth in all areas of development.
Prime Years Academy integrates a uniquely developed Islamic Education program into the environment and daily experiences of the children. The foundation of the program is based on the following three concepts:
Furthermore, as Arabic is the language of Qur’an, Hadith, and much of the preserved Islamic literature, our program aims to expose children to the Arabic language and familiarize them with its common words, sounds, and symbols.
